I'm back from the weekend trip up north to meet the boy's parents, as detailed in the last exciting chapter of the Chronicles of BD. The trip up was a Christmas story in itself, braving bad traffic, blinding snowsqualls, small locking-the-key-in-the-running-car mishaps, grizzly bears and Frostmane headhunters to eventually reach Christmas joy and cheer with his family. It was really nice, and I had a very fun time. :)

And as I've mentioned before, I'm neurotic about buying presents, so I was happy that he and his folks enjoyed my presents, (though he did help pick out the ones for his folks).

It's really nice doing the family thing. Hopefully mine won't be all over the place when I take time out of my World of Warcraft schedule to visit them this week.

Anyway, enough of this Xmas pap! Hope you guys had a fun one.

In a few more hours, my Christmas vacation will have started and I'll be out of this city to visit the boy's folks up north. I think it'll be a spiffy trip, despite the usual 'omg will his parents hate me' jitters. I do love this time of year. I even love the mall, and decent holiday tunes (though I'm sick of hearing The Little Drummer Boy … what a dumb song!). I am a holiday geek.

Anyway, for lack of anything better to talk about, and I'm sure you don't really want to hear about my World of Warcraft exploits, I'll bid you all a very happy holiday, whatever you celebrate, and if you don't celebrate it, have a few drinks and cheers, anyway. :D

More World of Warcraft: I've added a few screenshots to pixiecrap… and if anyone's wondering where I'll be posting most, it'll be where I've made the most investment in time and money (ie. not LJ). :)
(I'm still checking up on my friend list, don't y'all go away!)

    it's beginning…

I've been recently introduced to the joys of MMORPGs (after having avoided games like Everquest for so long), with World of Warcraft. Me and the dude have been having a jolly old time hunting down evil doers and adventuring and such.

So you have to understand why my house will never be clean again.

Thanks to the company Christmas party, I had my first real hangover in months. I should feel special, but instead I feel tired and icky. At least I got my hair to do what I wanted it to, and the gods of hairspray and bobby pins didn't let me down all night.

I'd like to work on my site a little tonight, but I have a feeling I'm going to just throw on Lord of the Rings (in preparation for the Return of the Kings special edition box set, of course) and fall asleep on the couch.
