    Finding things…

I forgot I had these. I found them in a milk crate of VHS movies that I had meant to throw out before I moved out. I’m glad I looked through the tapes before I did today otherwise these would have gone in the trash with them.

My Vertigo Tarot deck, illustrated by Dave McKean. I used to play around with Tarot a lot when I was younger. I owned about three decks, including the more common Rider-Waite deck. I don’t know how much stock I put in that stuff nowadays, but it was fun and interesting back then.

    I’m on a nostalgia roll!

I posted something sort of World of Warcraft related last time, I thought I’d share another oldie but a goodie. :D

    So. Full. of. Win.

    Halo, the Movie

(okay, this is probably my favourite April Fool’s day joke today.)

    April Fool

    spring03

I moved out of the house yesterday. Took the last bit of junk out just as the new owners were moving in. They were early, and suffice it to say, it was a bit awkward. But I didn’t mind. I’m sad to leave that house behind, to tell you the truth. I really did love it and I wish I was able to give it more love. If I could have packed up the whole thing with me, I would have. I’m leaving these old pics from my Flickr on this post as a small tribute.

I am looking forward to the future, though. It’s exciting. Why do I feel it a little funny that this step begins on April 1st. Of all dates. :)

    Green Curry

    greencurry01

We had lunch last weekend at a restaurant in Oakville called the Spoon and Fork. For the price, this wasn’t the best green curry I had. But I felt like taking a picture anyway.

    “Tear in Your Hand”

Okay this is one of my favourite songs. I was searching for it on Youtube a while ago and came across this cover. I fell in love with the song all over again.

    Good job Team Canada!

I just had to post how good it feels to finally be able to exhale after the last few hours. What a freaking amazing game that was. :D

    On my wishlist now!

Anyone else out there a follower of La Carmina? I just saw this book, Charlie’s Widow, on her blog and I all kinds of want it now. I guess I’m just too weak for spooky pseudo-children’s stuff (hugs my Living Dead and Apple dolls!).  Anyway, there’s a contest if anyone wants to get in on it. :)

    Pictures from IDS10

This weekend, I treated myself (and the boyfriend, lol) with a trip to the Interior Design Show 2010 which happened this year at the Metro Convention Center. And of course, I took a bunch of pictures!
