Drawing – Defender

Honestly, you think those big poofy things in the sky would be easy to draw, but nope, not for me. I don’t do a lot of backgrounds in my work, and if I do it ends up being an amorphous mess, so I go back and painstakingly clean things up and add details.

What have I done? I’m not exactly sure, I was swimmingly along nicely with life and then for some reason I was inspired to draw  Sylvanas Windrunner, Banshee Queen of  the Forsaken:

  I’m going to try a new feature on this site dedicated to the artists that inspire me.  I like to study my favourite artists’ works, and what it is that makes it appealing to me. I’ll stop short of fangirling and saying I want to draw exactly like these people, but I know I can improve by being inspired.

Once upon a time, there was a silly, black kitten playing with her sister in a Petsmart adoption center. I had come by just by chance, hoping that I’d find the girl I was going to adopt.  I had traveled miles, gotten lost in strange cities, just to find the right one.  And here she was.

Spring Cleaning

I’ve been dealing with health issues for the past few months (don’t worry, I’m fine!)  Because of this, I’ve been thinking a lot of regenerating. Food is part of this.
