Artist Marisa Bruno introduced a wonderful art challenge, #CryptidInJuly. I’m fascinated by cryptids and supernatural stories, so this was a great way for me to practice art.

I used this challenge as a way to study storytelling, composition and digital painting techniques. Though I wasn’t able to complete the month, some of these drawings turned out to be among my favourites.
