I am more than excited that Sandman will be coming to Netflix and when casting news went out, I wanted to draw Death, inspired by Kirby Howell-Baptiste who will be portraying her.

Death has been one of my favourite characters ever since I’ve read Death: The High Cost of Living. I’ve absorbed every bit of The Sandman and have fallen in love with all of the Endless. I have no clue which direction the new show will go in terms of art, but as long as Death is perky and adorable, I’m all in.
